GILLIAN NEWTON:
OWNER/ RECRUITER - CAPE TOWN
A dedicated part of the business since 1993.
Collegiate Girls’ High School alumna, Gillian also went on to obtain a National Diploma (PE Technikon)+Bachelor of Technology degree in HR (UNISA), TQUK Level 5 qualification + has completed many courses along her journey, including PPA accreditation for applicant testing via Thomas International.
These qualifications coupled with extensive experience in HR for the past 33 years, enables her to contribute to the University of Cape Town’s HR courses, as a part-time Assessor.
Gillian also led the TES / labour division of Personnel Network for over 20 years -managing the full payroll function including all HR/IR requirements in compliance with BCEA, LRA & the Motor & Metal Bargaining Councils. This broad skill base has enabled her to maintain a successful recruitment track record in a variety of sectors in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
NICKY VOLKER:

SARAH BAYES:

A dedicated member of the Personnel Network team, Sarah holds a degree in Sociology and Psychology from Nelson Mandela University (2021) and an Honours degree in Applied Psychology in Professional Contexts from UNISA (2023). She is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, recognising her academic achievement within the top 15% in her field. Her academic background provides a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, enabling her to effectively assess both client requirements and candidate suitability. With her proactive and detail-oriented diligent approach, Sarah is committed to delivering a professional and efficient recruitment service.
